How to roll up towels for storage, display or gift baskets
It only takes a minute to roll up towels and give them an arty designer look. This guide will show you how easy it is to roll towels to different heights.

Materials:
Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths or even dish towels

Spread the towel open
Fold it in half lengthwise

Rotate the towel so that the short edge is closest to you.
Make a small fold at the short edge and roll the towel up tightly.

If you want to make a shorter roll, fold the towel in thirds lengthwise:
Fold a long edge 1/3 of the way.
And fold the opposite long edge over it to the other side

You can display or set up a gift basket with towels rolled to different heights.
If you are standing up the towels in a basket, keep the neat folded end on the top and the open edge in the back.
If you are laying them on top of each other, on a shelf, put the neat folded end in the front and place the open end on the bottom.
